These website terms summarise the basis on which At The Helm (UK) Ltd t/a The Singing Wedding Waiters accepts and delivers event entertainment bookings. The specific booking confirmation, invoice and any signed agreement issued for an event form part of the contract with the client.

Booking and payment

A date is secured only when availability has been confirmed and any agreed booking fee has been received. Remaining balances are payable in accordance with the invoice or booking agreement supplied for the event.

• Booking fees and cancellation arrangements are governed by the booking agreement issued for the event.
• The agreed fee covers the services listed in the booking confirmation and any later additions confirmed in writing.
• Changes to the date, venue, timings or scope of a booking may affect availability and the quoted fee.

Venue access, sound and safety

The client is responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the venue, a safe performance environment and suitable electrical access where required. The performance may be adapted, paused or stopped if conditions create a material safety risk to performers, guests or equipment.

Timings and event running order

The reveal and performance are planned around the agreed running order. Because weddings and live events can move, reasonable flexibility may be required on the day. Material changes should be discussed as early as possible so the team can protect the surprise and coordinate with the venue.

Performer availability and circumstances beyond reasonable control

If a booked performer becomes unavailable because of illness or circumstances outside reasonable control, reasonable efforts will be made to provide a suitable professional replacement or another practical solution in line with the booking agreement.

Photography and video

Photography or video captured at an event may be used for portfolio and promotional purposes where permission has been obtained or where the applicable booking arrangements allow it. Clients who require additional privacy should raise this before the event.
